We hope everyone is having a fabulous fantastic week!  Check out the fun family activities happening this week.  :)  Sometimes it's a little slow in this town we call Home but there is always something to do from Story Time at the Library to visiting your favorite park with a picnic lunch.

Thursday, May 17 - Mommy and Me Fitness

Join Brooke for this one hour class that will incorporate Music, Movement, Dance, Yoga, Mat Pilates and FUN for both the child and adult to enjoy together! Mommy & Me Fitness is for ALL AGES. Please dress your Preschooler in comfortable clothing, bring a blanket and chest carrier for itty bitty munchkins. Mommies, wear your fitness gear and be ready to work up a sweat! Lets introduce fitness into our children's lives, while working out alongside them!
Where: Red Hawk Studio 2

When: 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM (because this is a recurring event, please call before hand in case of holidays, etc.)

Sunday, May 20 - Miracles in Motion FUN Run for Kids

"Miracles in Motion is a non - competitive FUN run for kids to benefit Children's Miracle Network. Kids will run, walk, or skip around the marina loop taking part in 9 activity stations. All registered kids will receive an award, t-shirt, and refreshments. Loads of fun with 'kids running for kids!'" all information gathered from the Miracles in Motion facebook page.

Easy Hot Fudge Chocolate Ice Cream Cake

(what a mouth full! hee hee, get it? lol! crack myself up!!!)

My daughter begged for an ice cream cake this year for her birthday.  My first thought was to hit Baskin Robbins but then she said she wanted hot fudge on it!  So I whipped up this super easy Hot Fudge Chocolate Ice Cream Cake!  

Here's what you will need:
Ice Cream in a rectangular box package
Cake 
Bottle of store bought Hot Fudge

Spring Time Flower Pot

Everyone loves flowers, and what better way to show your love of Spring Time Flowers than with this wonderful hand-painted flower pot? For the past couple years my kids have made these handprint flower pots for special gifts.

Materials:

  • Clay flower pot (available at most craft stores or even wal-mart for $2.00 or less)
  • Acrylic paint
  • Paintbrushes
  • Pencil
  • Clear acrylic sealer in gloss or matte

Optional materials:

  • Potting Soil
  • Flowers
